A Nemesis

 

The Wenatchee Valley Rams lost to the Tri-City Knights in a surpisingly low scoring game of 6-0. The Knights scored on a first quarter pass from Na= te Williams to Rene Cardoza – and the defens= ive battle began.

 

The Knights have been a nemesis to the Rams since the league was formed in 2005. The two teams have played 5 times, and the Knights have won 4 of those contests.

 

“Defensively – that was one of our finest performances. Kicking game was awesome &= #8211; again. The offensive battled back in the second half, but we really struggl= ed to complete plays. We have a lot of work to do to fix that,” said Head Coach Paul Preston. “Take nothing away from Tri-City. They were tough. They played a great ball game. The proved whey the are<= /span> the three time defending champions today.”
